Feverish.

Greetings. It is currently 3 o'clock in the morning when I realized I was actually having a slight delirium due to fever. My family are having fever, my friends are having the symptoms of fever and Sofia was absent yesterday and I am assuming it is due to fever. It is, the fever season, I supposed.

Moving on, the reason that I am here, typing is that I know I cannot have a good night sleep for just now, I barfed, releasing everything I had for dinner at around 7 pm, which is approximately 9 hours  back. I am totally weak right now.

I know I have to keep myself healthy for PMR is 12 days to go. Can't wait for it to end hehe. Do pray for my good state of health and flying colours, okay? God will answer your prayer and the thing is, when you pray for someone, it means you are praying the same thing for yourself either.

Here are some tips on how to handle fever. Together, let us practise it.

Almost everyone has had a fever before. You are said to have a fever when your body temperature rises above 37 degrees Celsius. This occurs when your body is invaded by germs. When these germs attack your body, it defends itself by raising its temperature. The rise in temperature helps your body fight the germs. Thus, contrary to popular belief, having a fever can be good for you.

The best thing to do when you have a fever is to let it be. Once it has carried out its purpose, it will go away. If you are feeling uncomfortable you could dress lightly. Putting on too much clothing can make you feel uncomfortable. The same goes for covering yourselves with blankets. You should also sponge yourself with cool waiter or even sit in a bathtub. Drink lots of  water. This not only makes you feel better but also helps to flush out the infection. Cool, plain water is the best. Very often, you will lose your appetite when you have a fever. Do not force yourself to eat if you do not feel like it. Your body is telling you that it does not want food at the moment.

It is surprising, still having your form 1 paper with you when you are now in form 3, innit? Well, to be honest, I really do love English. I love it so much that it affects my Malay Language. Haha. I think I need to sleep now. Night :)
