A lot of things happened on this day. Ma asked me to go for a drive around BTHO with Zharif. Then Qudin called and asked us to pick him at C180. En route to C180, my favourite cover of Drake's Hotline Bling was on air and I found myself being all steady, singing, for the first time while driving. Lol now can you see how seldom I drive? Right after Hotline Bling, DNCE's Cake by the Ocean was on and boy, was I enthusiastic. So upon picking up Qudin, he had this look on his face, like, "Ha? Sis is driving?" That's the first time (I think) that Qudin is in the car while I'm driving. My driving company and the only passenger each time I drive have always been either Ma or Zharif.

Everything was a-okay until I was at the T-junction. So I knew there was a car, I knew it, I saw it coming from the right. But somehow, because the car was slow to me, I impulsively released the break and tried to speed to go to the right. But that naive thought almost caused an accident, literally. It was a near-miss. That was SO CLOSE! And the driver honked at me real loud, I swear. But I know I deserved it. This was not the first time, but the second one. Zharif, just like the last time, screamed "woi ina!!! awak tak nampak ke kereta tu?Both incidents happen when I was with Zharif and took place at a T-junction. This incident explains the caption for the recent photo on Instagram. "Sometimes YOLO is not the way to go."

I think this is why I never really liked driving. Because I am such an impulsive person and reckless behaviour is extremely risky when one is driving. I always feel like driving is a really big responsibility that I need to get used to. It might sound melodramatic but yeah... That's just how I think of it. Still, I am fully aware that this should not be an excuse. Sooner or later, I still need to drive and this serious issue of mine should be taken into account.

Zharif then went back to UNITEN. It was when Ma wanted to go and pick up Syazana that she realize that one of the tyres of her car was terribly flat. Since Azhar was the last person I talked to (online) and knowing that he is home, I asked him to do a favour to fetch Syazana while Ma called the mechanic. That happened around 5.40 pm. Syazana's class ended at 5.30 pm and only at 6.15 pm (approximately), Azhar arrived since he had to hit the shower and solat first.

Along the journey, we (but mostly I) went on telling each other what's what. When we finally reached in front of the school, we saw Syazana, alone, frowning. As Azhar opened the car window and called upon her, she was quite surprised and quickly approach us and smiled broadly as she opened the door. So cute, Syazana!

Azhar said sorry to Syazana, for being late. He dropped by to 7E then Petronas, asked if we wanted anything but nah, we're cool. When we went past SMK, Azhar was busy with his phone that I had to control the steering while nagging haha. Azhar asked if we wanted to chill by the lake but Syazana didn't seem like she wanted to so we headed straight back home. Asked Azhar if he wanted to chill at the gazebo at my yard but he insisted for us to just have a chat in the car.

That was when I saw my old friend from primary school, Sunil. He was on the phone as he walked down the road. Opened the window and hollered at him and he was like, "Heyyy, Adlinaaa!" You know the kind of face that lights up after umpteen years of not seeing each other. He is also graduating this year and will be doing his internship in Singapore. I regret not thinking of taking a photo with him. Urgh.

Later after the goodbye, Azhar said, "you're so friendly. I'd never wanna meet my friends from primary school. I might as well hide myself from them." LOL. He then asked when can he eat the Tim Tam. Ma asked me to give those irresistibly good chocolate-coated biscuits to Azhar earlier. Being the gedik Azhar that most people don't even know about, he didn't want to just take and eat them so I had to officially hand over them to him, say things like, "this is for you, Azhar. Thanks for.. *blablabla*" Then, and only then we had one biscuit each. Just after we had one each, Ma came back so we both went out of the car and Azhar greeted Ma. They had quite a chat. Glad that Ma finally knows who Azhar is and would not mistaken him as Hazwan, ever again. Haha
